Who is responsible for your data

Español con María (María, independent teacher) is the data controller. Contact: hola@example.com.

What data we collect

Request form: name, email, country of residence, time zone, age range, Spanish level, goals, previous experience, availability and comments. If the student is a minor, also the name and email of the parent or guardian.

If you become a student: data about your lessons, materials, homework, submissions, corrections, messages and payment records.

Browsing: anonymous usage events (page visited, language, traffic source) without cookies or data that identify you. Third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrika) are only enabled if you accept them.

What we use it for

To reply to your request, arrange the intro call and lessons, prepare personalised lessons, send you notifications about your lessons and homework, and keep administrative records of packages and payments.

We do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes. Marketing communications are kept separate from service notifications, and you can turn them off.

Legal basis

Your consent when you submit the form and, if you are a student, the lesson service agreement.

Minors

Accounts for minors are managed by a parent or guardian, who gives consent, receives notifications and arranges lessons. We only collect the minimum data needed about the minor.

Who we share it with (data processors)

Providers that help us run the service, under confidentiality agreements: hosting and storage in a data center located in the Russian Federation, transactional email delivery, and Google Calendar / Google Meet for lessons. Files are stored privately and are only visible to the relevant student and María.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not turn into lessons are deleted after 12 months. Student data is kept for as long as lessons continue and up to 24 months after the last lesson, unless the law requires longer retention (for example, payment records).

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to hola@example.com. We reply within 30 days.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwordless sign-in via secure links, per-student access permissions and audit logs for sensitive operations.
